A short and easy walk through a delightful, mossy rainforest leads to one of Tasmania’s highest waterfalls. Ralphs Falls drop dramatically nearly 100m off the escarpment in a single curving ribbon.
From the falls you can retrace your steps back to the carpark, or take the longer loop back via Cashs Lookout. This track, at times close to the escarpment edge, takes you through varied vegetation, including a teatree forest, to a delightful lookout above Cashs Gorge. The track back has one more surprise: some sections of boardwalk pass through buttongrass.
