​​​​​​Discovery rangers will be visiting Narawntapu National Park this summer. Check out the sessions available and come and learn about the features of this beautiful location.

Friday 24 January ​

12.30pm King of the Skies (1hr)
Meet at the Visitors Centre car park

Learn about the world’s largest eagle and other remarkable raptors. Help Discovery Ranger John build a life sized Wedge-Tailed Eagle nest.

Saturday 25 January 

10.00am A Devil Of A Time (1hr)
Meet at Bakers Point day use area.

How much do you know about Tasmanian’ iconic Devils? Learn about what the Save The Devil Team are doing ensure these amazing creatures will continue to be found in the wild.


1.30pm Rockpool Ramble (1hr)
Meet at Griffiths Point car park.

Living between the tides is tough, come and discover the amazing creatures that live on our rocky shores.  

Sunday 26 January 

Roving Ranger John at Greens Beach Look for the Purple Parks and Wildlife Flag

Find Discovery Ranger John through the day at Greens Beech to ask any of your burning questions. What treasures will he have for you to discover?

Monday 27 January 

9.30am Wetlands Nature Walk (2hrs)
Meet at the Visitors Centre car park

Join Discovery Ranger John on a 4km walk around the wetlands. How many birds will you spot? Can we find the Kangaroos and Wallabies?
