The Mount Nelson Signal Station is only a 10 minute drive from the Hobart city centre. Take the Southern Outlet (A6), then turn off to Mount Nelson, and continue along to the end of Nelson Road (C643). Metro Tasmania run a regular public bus service from the city centre to the Mt Nelson Signal Station - see www.metrotas.com.au/timetables/view/77
