Tracks closed in the Western and Eastern Arthur ranges due to bushfire

The following tracks are will be closed until further notice due to a wildfire in the West Portal area on the Western Arthur Range.

Track east of Lake Haven and Kappa moraine leading to the Craigs of Andromeda , West Portal and the Lucifer Ridge area.
Track north of Federation Peak that lead to The Dial and Luckmans Lead and Cerberus Hill
Track south of Cracroft Crossing leading to Lake Rosanne and Pass creek

This does not affect walkers undertaking the standard Western Arthur Range traverse using Moraine A and Moraine K. Walkers can still access Federation Peak via Moss Ridge.

All walkers should avoid the West Portal area as the fire is in very difficult terrain and may take some time to extinguish. The situation will be reassessed early next week.
