Section of Lake Meston Track in the Walls of Jerusalem National Park closed


A wild dog eradication program is in progress within the Walls of Jerusalem National Park. At this stage the program includes the free feeding of the wild dogs and their eradication.

For walker safety, the Parks and Wildlife have closed a section of the Lake Meston track from the junction of the Walls track (near Trappers Hut), to Lake Adelaide (including all side routes), from the evening of Monday 6th to the morning of Thursday 9th of February and from the morning of Friday 10th to the evening of Monday 13th of February.

Walkers intending to go to Meston and Junction (Never Never) or return via the same must go through Lake Ball/Jaffa Vale and Dixons Kingdom.
