Fly Neighbourly Advice

This is an understanding between locally-based scenic flight and charter operators and the Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife Service to operate above the World Heritage Area, Mount Field National Park and Freycinet National Park in an agreed responsible manner

The aim of the Fly Neighbourly Advice (FNA) is to promote harmonious relationships between aviation activities, conservation and visitor enjoyment of the outstanding natural and cultural values of these areas.

The FNA makes recommendations for pilots operating in this area so that they can avoid disturbing wildlife and contribute toward maintaining visitor enjoyment. This FNA complements the mandatory aviation operating and safety regulations and air traffic management procedures applicable to the area.
