Ferns at Notley Gorge

Notley Fern Gorge State Reserve is about 30 minutes' drive north-west of Launceston. The 11 ha reserve is a remnant patch of wet sclerophyll forest. The forest is dominated by large, old eucalypts with a rainforest understory. Towards the creek, a variety of fern species grow in profusion. A 1.5 km return walking track leads through the forest.
