Track closure: Patons Road, Cradle Mountain - Lake St Clair
Applies from 21/10/2022

​​​​​​​​​​Patons Road beyond Sardine Creek is closed due to flood damage caused by the recent heavy rainfall event. The road beyond Sardine Creek will remain closed until a full inspection is completed and determined safe for visitor access.

This closure affects ATV and motorbike permit holders only and does not affect general access to Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park.

​​​​Want to waddle with wombats? Then Cradle Mountain is the place for you this summer. Our Discovery Rangers will be hosting a number of activities open to all ages.

Activities are free, but visitors will need to book for the Wombat Waddle as numbers are limited. Please contact the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre on (03) 6492 1110 to book.
