About

You'll climb to the top of the highest mountain in the Blue Tier, Mount Poimena (816m). In clear weather the views are spectacular from the tier through to the east coast.

The circuit track continues on from Mount Poimena around the Moon Valley Rim. This undulating path takes you from sub-alpine vegetation and boulders through to scented rainforest.

To discover more of the mining history take the short 2 minute diversion to the Gough Battery.
