About

The Blue Tier is home to a wide variety of walk and mountain bike experiences. Steeped in a fascinating mining history,  you can discovery the remains of heritage sites dotted across these mountains.

The walks are numerous, experience the mountain forests or climb up to the sub-alpine boulder landscapes and soak up the spectacular mountain top views.

In fine clear weather you can see from Flinders Island through to the Bay of Fires, and to the farming and forested valleys of Pyengana and Weldborough.

Camping is not permitted within the Blue Tier Regional Reserve, including the Poimena area.
