Work to improve road safety and enhance the overall visitor experience on the road between the Narawntapu National Park Visitor Centre and Bakers Point Campground will begin this month.

The 4.2 kilometre stretch of road will be re-surfaced and table drains  constructed as part of the $150,000 project funded through the Government’s maintenance boost funding commitment to take our national parks to the next level.

Bakers Road will remain open while the works are undertaken, however visitors may experience minor delays.

The work will be carried out by contractors Walters Contracting Pty Ltd and are expected to begin in February and be completed within four weeks.
