Easter is almost here, which means that our Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service (PWS) Discovery Rangers are busy preparing some fun activities to be run over the holiday period.
The program is being held at eight popular locations including Bruny Island, Freycinet National Park, Maria Island National Park, Mount Field National Park, Narawntapu National Park, Tasman Peninsula, Stanley, and Greens Beach.

The Easter program includes a great variety of free and fun activities for all ages. Activities range from guided walks and rockpool rambles, 100m Devil Dash, quiz nights, or helping to build a life-sized eagle’s nest, with people of all ages invited to join in on the fun.
The program provides a great opportunity to chat to our Discovery Rangers, who have extensive knowledge about Tasmania’s pristine national parks and reserves.
Discovery Rangers have been delivering services in Tasmania’s national parks for more than 40 years. The program aims provide interpretation of an area’s natural and cultural heritage through information and activities, which enhances the visitor experience.
