Have your say on Reserve Activity Assessment Consultation Paper

Find out more

The public is invited to have their say on a Consultation Paper as part of the Reserve Activity Assessment (RAA) Review.

The Paper facilitates consultation on the proposal for amendments to the National Parks and Reserves Management Act (NPRMA) 2002.

Proposed amendments to the RAA process will ensure greater transparency and improved effectiveness of this important approval mechanism.

Public consultations are open until 8 March 2024.

To provide feedback on the Paper, visit the RAA Reform page on the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania (NRE Tas) website.

As part of a commitment for all active leases and licences over reserved land to be published, the new Lease and Licence Portal has also been launched.

The Portal provides the public with access to a greater level of information than made publicly available before.

There are over 2000 active lease and licences on reserved land, which means agreements will be released in a phased approach as they become available for publication.

The Lease and Licence Portal is now available.
