The Parks and Wildlife Service and Break O’Day Council have partnered to develop a Bay of Fires Master Plan.
The draft Plan is available for public comment from 8 April to 29 May 2026.
A copy of the draft Plan and information on how to provide feedback is available on the Bay of Fires Masterplan website.
The Plan will deliver a high quality environmentally, economically and socially sustainable Bay of Fires experience for the next 20 years. The Plan will:
improve the experience for visitors to the Bay of Fires
protect and enhance the natural environment and cultural values
respond to the needs of the community and residents
This follows community and stakeholder engagement through 2025 to inform the draft that is available now.
The draft Plan reflects the feedback received from the community. It addresses issues and opportunities for the area and the corresponding vision and guiding actions.
