Planning for the future at Cockle Creek

The Parks and Wildlife Service is inviting public comment on the Draft Cockle Creek Precinct Site Plan 2018.

The draft plan has been prepared for the Visitor Services and Recreation Zones of the Cockle Creek Precinct, within the Recherche Bay Nature Recreation Area and part of the Southwest National Park. Both reserves form part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area.

The draft plan aims to improve the visitor experience and environmental outcomes, and to guide site management.

The consultation period closes on Monday, 29 October 2018.
