Summary


The Freycinet National Park Management Plan 2016 alters the Freycinet National Park, Wye River State Reserve Management Plan 2000. It was prepared in accordance with the requirements of Part 3 of the National Parks and Reserves Management Act 2002.

The management plan has the effect removing the provision in the Freycinet National Park, Wye River State Reserve Management Plan 2000 that restricts an increase in accommodation capacity on the existing Freycinet Lodge lease.

The management of the Freycinet National Park will be governed by the Freycinet National Park, Wye River State Reserve Management Plan 2000, Freycinet National Park Management Plan 2004 and the Freycinet National Park Management Plan 2016 read together.
