WILDCARE INC is the incorporated community partner organisation that provides management and support for volunteers working in natural and cultural heritage conservation and reserve management. Volunteers work alongside the Biodiversity Conservation Branch of the Department of Primary Industries and Water and also with the Tasmanian Heritage Office and the Parks & Wildlife Service of the Department of Tourism, Arts and the Environment.

WILDCARE provides a member database for volunteer call up, insurance cover for members working on WILDCARE projects, a quarterly newsletter, mail out facilities, funding assistance for WILDCARE approved projects, and skills-based training for volunteers.
