Maintaining vigilance with campfires

Parks and Wildlife Service staff have thanked the many campers who have heeded the restrictions placed on campfires and pot fires, but ask that park and reserve visitors continue to take care while the fire risk remains high in certain areas of the State.More

Permits and Forms

The following forms and permits relate to activities and services of the Parks and Wildlife Service, Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment.

If you are interested in obtaining a permit for taking plants or animals for scientific purposes, importing or exporting wildlife or a hunting licence, please refer to the relevant pages on the DPIPWE web site.

Please print the form required, complete as instructed, and return to the address indicated on the form.

  • National Parks Passes
    Park passes must be purchased for entry to Tasmania's national parks.
  • Visitor Research Permits
    Approval is required for the conduct of any social research on lands administered by the Parks and Wildlife Service.
  • Commercial Filming application is available for download here or alternatively please contact CVS on (03) 6165 4215 or cvs@parks.tas.gov.au to ensure that commercial filming in national parks and reserves does not compromise conservation and other management objectives.
  • AnCVS application form for a licence to conduct a business within a National Park, State Reserve, State Forest or other Crown land, can be obtained by contacting cvs@parks.tas.gov.au or on (03) 6165 4247.
