Improved access to a World Heritage view

An upgrade of the popular viewing platform on the shore of Lake St Clair has now been completed, improving disability access to one of the finest viewing points of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area.


The $90,000 Tourism Infrastructure in Parks (TIIP) upgrade has resulted in an improved pathway to the lookout platform and a gently graded track down to the beach, allowing those with prams, walking frames and wheelchairs access to the lookout and onto the shores of Lake St Clair.
